The Royal Drawing School, previously, The Prince’s Drawing School, believes that drawing is a primary language. It is a crucial route to innovation across the creative disciplines and beyond, from fashion, fine art and animation to film making, product design and engineering.
The Royal Drawing School runs over 250 different full and part-time drawing courses each year for adults and children of all ages and abilities.
Liz was an Hon. Fundraiser for The Prince’s Drawing School for 10 years.
The Restoration of Appearance and Function Trust (RAFT)
RAFT (Restoration of Appearance and Function Trust) is a world-class medical research charity, that undertakes ground‐breaking research in order to develop life‐changing treatments. Its international network of sector specialist trustees and patrons, includes some of the most celebrated authorities. This ensures that the highest levels of knowledge and integrity underpin the relationship between RAFT and its corporate and private donors to provide funding to support its work.
Long-time friend of Liz Brewer and CEO of RAFT, Leonor Stjepic, introduced Liz to the charity in 2013. The pair has collaborated on fund-raising events and campaigns for charities since 1995, including the Galapagos Conservation Trust and National Playing Fields Association, Headed by Lord Carnarvon,owner of Highclere with HRH Prince Philip as their Royal Patron.
Since then, Liz has introduced influential patrons and sponsors to RAFT and their ideas. She has also masterminded fundraising events such as the ‘Steps to the Future’ extravaganza at The Hurlingham Club on 28th of November 2014, which was in aid of RAFT and Walking With The Wounded.
The event was a huge success, with all who attended having a fabulous evening and generously donating toward both RAFT and Walking With The Wounded charities. More photos from the event can be found here.
Her latest collaboration with RAFT is the co-creation of the Life After Breast Cancer campaign which brings together a global network of strong and influential women. She is the Chairman and Founder of the dynamic and glamorous Committee of women supporting the campaign.
Liz facilitated an introduction between RAFT and Margo Marrone, Founder and Owner of The Organic Pharmacy resulting in joint fundraising effort to make a huge and tangible difference. The Organic Pharmacy hosted the Pink Cocktail Reception launch of the Life After Breast Cancer campaign in October 2015, attended by Natasha Hemmings, Miss England 2015 who accompanied Liz Brewer.
